Does intelligence Guarantee Success?

Does intelligence Guarantee Success?

What makes a person successful? Is it the angel of intelligence? Is it the beast of hard work? Or is it just the sprinkling of luck?

Well… the debate has been going on and on.

Some believe that intelligence owes to IQ. “Look at Stephen Hawking! He had an IQ of 160! And the world knows him.” Also,“ Albert Einstein still bewilders the minds of today. Did he not have a high IQ level?”

Others are convinced that success is dependent upon the beast of hard work. The more you work, the more you achieve! “See the Michael Jordan! His success story indebts to his hard work.”

The other cult believes that success is in red to luck.  They preach that no matter how much you try, how intelligent you are, or how much potential you have, luck begets success.

The world is pregnant with such luck stories. An orphan gets a family and limbs the ladder of success because of his family. Similarly, a film producer chose a beautiful face on a road trip and now the world crowns her existence.

There is a picture of a blackboard with written, "Success, go get it" and further leads to the question that does intellgnce guarantee success?

So, What’s Your Point?

When it comes to success, I firmly believe that IQ stands the lowest in the queue. In my school, I have seen my classmates with high IQs failing in their practical lives. Likewise, I have observed my classmates enjoying success despite having average or low IQs.

However, it does not mean that success does not owe to hard work, intelligence, or luck. I believe that success is a mixture of concoction of them all.

A hard worker cannot be successful if he is not disciplined or has analytical powers. Correspondingly, an intelligent person needs to work hard to meet the winners at the finish line. Both of them want luck or may I say the will of God to achieve success.

In the race for success, one needs to wear the cloak of discipline, utilize pearls of his analytical skills, and drink from the chalice of consistency every day.

Recognizing the right course and keeping on moving in the right course are two different things. The former requires courage only while the latter one gets enticed by consistency plus valiancy.

An intelligent person can have the attention or applause but only for ephemerals. Long-lasting success has to be earned constantly.

So it begs the question, Does intelligence Guarantee Success, once again?

The answer cannot be a complete yes or no. rather it depends upon several strands.

Intelligence Guarantees Success only if it focuses on nourishing strengths. It covers its weaknesses and learns from it. More importantly, successful intelligence merges the power of analytical skills with practical skills to do a range of tasks.
