A Short Poem About Death: Dust of Success

A Short Poem About Death: Dust of Success

“Dust of Success” is a sad short poem about death, exploring ambition, suppressed anger, and the emotional consequences of striving for success and not knowing what to do when you have gained or enjoyed success. This reflective piece of sad poetry also highlights the conflict between personal failure and success, capturing the tension of overwhelming sentiments.

Take a deep breath and enjoy!

Gliding past the poignant beauty,

Standing in the dust of success,

Cuddling  the failure,

She melts under the rage of her anger.

Animosity fills her nostrils,

It frosts and frosts:

until it blinds her eyes,

and repels each soothing voice.

Gliding past the poignant beauty,

Standing in the dust of success,

Cuddling the failure,

She burns under the fire of her resentment.

Despair fills her head,

It spreads and spreads,

Until it replaces the air in her throat

and careens her into a dimension, unknown.

This is a picture of dusty car which highlights the theme of the poem: dust of success.
