The Symphony of Luck

A Poem: The Symphony of Luck

The mightiest among the mightiest
Throw a tantrum at everyone
Beneath the sheet of gloomy clouds,
Lies the stuttering sound of a symphony.

Stammering and relying to conceal itself under the shadow
Sometimes, it successfully disappears
Sometimes, it leaves behind its lurking shadows.

With open eyes, they see nothing
But themselves

If they want to bless a child
they do so by lighting up a candle of hope in their dying heart

If they want to destroy a man, they do so happily
gifting them engulfing fear.

It lures a man only to abandon him
In the dark alley
It seduces him only to destroy him.

Sometimes, it gifts everything to an anonymous person
Only to begin the fire of jealousy among all others.

The Symphony of Luck is known by multiple names:

It’s crowned as the God of giving by those touched by it
They call it a blessing

The ones affected by it, call it merciless
They preach:
Seek haven from it as no remedy can cure the curse cast by it.

There is a picture of tree that highlights the theme of luck in The Symphony of Luck.
